Central departments, such as management, and staff on individual wards can create cross-ward requests (e.g., regarding the availability of medications or meals). These requests can be narrowed down to specific areas and require acknowledgment and a response from those areas. As a result, processes can be completed significantly faster than by phone and with a documented response. The range of possible applications is broad, but searching for medications (e.g., at night), inquiries about supplies or meals, and reminders regarding training, orientations, or other quality management issues are particularly common.

Both the types of broadcast messages and the permissions for creating them can be flexibly configured. Similarly, you can specify on a case-by-case basis whether and which areas or stations should be included in the distribution list.
