Transportation providers are typically managed through logistics solutions—but this often leads to waiting times on wards, as well as chaos and unexpected work, because staff have not been informed about patient pickups. Cliniserve CARE offers the ability to automatically send advance notifications about upcoming transports to the responsible nursing staff. To do this, Cliniserve reads status updates from the transportation software. For example, when a transport provider accepts an order or the estimated arrival time is exceeded. This information is displayed to the responsible nurse, who can then prepare the patient for transport accordingly. This helps avoid disruptions on the ward and waiting times during transport. Additionally, downstream processes such as surgery or diagnostics run more smoothly.

Depending on the logistics software, there are various integration options.
We prefer to use the REST API for the secure and high-performance reception of information, which we process and delegate in a standardized manner within our process software.
Depending on the installation and manufacturer, in addition to an API interface, a communication server or similar system may also be required to transmit updates. This is particularly true when updates need to be communicated from an on-premises solution to the Cliniserve CARE Cloud platform.
In some cases, custom interfaces are also available for connecting older protocols or data sets.
