About this module

Upgrade for the light call system

Cliniserve offers an integration solution for every light call system that digitizes the light calls and enables data analysis.

The light calls are accessed either serially via the ESPA 4.4.4 interface or digitally via the communication server. Furthermore, the light calls are digitally assigned to the appropriate staff members, depending on their area of responsibility, and displayed in the Cliniserve CARE app. In addition, the digital notifications via the patient menu provide a comprehensive overview of the workload on the ward due to patient concerns. This allows processes and workflows to be optimized.

Clear overview of all light calls

The relevant staff members can clearly see in the app where the call is coming from and can communicate within the team about who is currently on a call—regardless of this, the corridor display and the analog light call system remain in place as before. This allows for a significant reduction in the number of DECT phones that need to be carried. As a result, the system can be transitioned to more versatile smartphones.

IMPORTANT: Cliniserve CARE does not replace the light call system, nor does it replace the indicators, lights, and wiring required by DIN VDE 0834. Similar to some DECT systems, Cliniserve CARE provides a "second screen."

Requirements

If integration is performed via ESPA 4.4.4 serial connection, a secure location is required for a Miniserver. This device reads the signals as a "second screen" without modifying them, digitizes them, and transmits them. Therefore, the device must also be able to communicate with the Cliniserve server via LAN or Wi-Fi.

If you have digital light call interfaces or an API-enabled alarm server that is already integrated, the signals can be transmitted to Cliniserve via the REST API.
