Optimal allocation and tracking of key tasks
Maintenance tasks that are particularly well-suited for delegation or are often overlooked can be given special attention.
The large volume of scheduled nursing tasks, combined with a high proportion of routine tasks, means that care planning is rarely actively utilized. By using Cliniserve CARE to distribute tasks that lend themselves particularly well to delegation based on skill mix, as well as those that are frequently overlooked, we ensure that both the ward’s workload is reduced and the quality of care is improved. A common example is the scheduled administration of an IV, which is noted in the HIS or in the schedule and is typically tracked in practice via notes or verbal communication. By entering these tasks into Cliniserve CARE, followed by delegation and transparent tracking of completion, quality improves while the workload on the team decreases.

In most cases, scheduled tasks can be processed and distributed via an export/import interface without requiring significant IT effort. The integration effort only increases when combined with automated documentation of activities. Modern care planning systems can import tasks directly into Cliniserve CARE via API and receive updates on their completion status accordingly.
