By linking to a modern alarm server and connected devices, alarms can be prevented proactively through Cliniserve CARE.
Through an interface, tasks resulting from a predicted alarm can be assigned to the responsible nurse. For example, a notification that an infusion pump will finish running in 10 minutes. This allows for better planning and organization of ward operations and improves patient care. The alarm chain is not bypassed or replaced; rather, a smart component is simply added upstream.
A modern alarm server is essential for smart alarms. This server uses a REST API to trigger predefined and typically rule-based task processes in Cliniserve CARE. Depending on the type of connected medical devices or alarm systems, various processes are possible. If necessary, it may be necessary to verify whether a medical device requirement under the MDR arises that Cliniserve CARE does not currently address.
